Our client has recently been awarded a 3-month conveyor maintenance contract on a gold mine located near Kalgoorlie. We are currently seeking an experienced HSE Advisor to join our client’s team.
Candidates will be offered a FIFO 2 weeks on/2 weeks off roster with the point of hire from Perth WA, however, locally based candidates will be highly regarded.
In this role, you will work closely with site teams to promote a strong safety culture, ensure compliance with site and statutory requirements, and provide practical guidance on risk management in a maintenance environment. You will be instrumental in conducting audits, facilitating toolbox talks, and supporting incident investigations while ensuring all maintenance activities are carried out safely and efficiently.
- Previous experience as an HSE Advisor within mining, construction or heavy industry
- Relevant qualification in Work Health & Safety
- Strong knowledge of WA safety legislation and site compliance requirements
- Experience in incident investigation, audits and risk assessments
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to work a 2/2 FIFO roster
- White card
- Confined spaces - Current within 2 yrs
- Working at heights – Current within 2 yrs
- Australian drivers' licence
- Ability to pass a Drug & Alcohol Screen
- Police Clearance required (under 12 months old)
- Australian working rights
