South-East Perth | Outdoor Work | Long-Term Opportunity

Like working outdoors and getting your hands dirty? Handy with concrete, asphalt and plant?
We’re recruiting for a local council-based south-east of Perth looking for a solid worker to join their Civil Operations crew.

You’ll be out on the tools every day working on footpaths, drainage, roads and car parks, with plenty of concreting and plant work. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity for the right person who shows up, works hard and takes pride in their work.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Concrete footpath repairs and finishing
  • Preparing bases, setting forms and steel
  • Pouring, finishing and curing concrete
  • Operating plant including skid steer, front-end loader and backhoe
  • General labouring, site clean-up and maintenance work
  • Working safely and following WHS procedures
  • Getting jobs done with minimal supervision

What You’ll Need

  • Proven experience in concrete and asphalt maintenance and finishing
  • Experience with formwork, steel fixing and concrete pours
  • Plant operating experience (skid steer, FEL, backhoe) - ideal
  • Current HR licence.
  • Flocon Truck Operation Experience -Advantageous
  • White Card
  • National Police Clearance (less than 3 months old)
  • Ability to work independently and solve problems on site
  • Good communication skills and a team-first attitude
  • Sound knowledge of site safety
